| Aluminium Nitrate Usage And Synthesis |
Description | Aluminum Nitrate is an odorless, colorless to white solid. lt isused in tanning leather and as an antiperspirant, corrosioninhibitor and nitrating agent. It is a highly water soluble crystalline Aluminum source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. | Uses | Aluminium Nitrate is used in tanning leather, antiperspirants, corrosion inhibitors, extraction of uranium, petroleum refining, and as a nitrating agent. | Solubility in water | As of water, it is soluble at 160 g/100 mL at 100 °C. In case of methanol, the soluble indicator is 14.45 g/100mL. Aluminum nitrate dissolves in ethanol at 8.63 g/100mL. And when it comes to ethylene glycol, 18.32 g/100mL, solubility rate exists. |
