Description | As a a diphenyl ether herbicide, Oxyfluorfen is a white to orange or red-brown crystalline solid with a smoke-like odor, which is used for broad-spectrum pre- and post-emergent control of annual broadleaf and grassy weeds in a variety of tree fruit, vegetables, fruit, cotton, nut, vine, and field crops. It belongs to the contact herbicide and requires light to impose killing effects on target plants. Besides, it can also be applied in non-agricultural ornamental and forestry, mainly used for weed control in landscapes, patios, driveways, and similar areas in residential sites.
