化学性质
红色粉末。在水中溶解度 (20℃) 为 60g/L，(50℃) 为 100g/L。水溶液呈红色，加 1mol/L 氢氧化钠仍为红色，继加保险粉并温热成浅黄色，再加过硼酸钠不能回复至原来色泽。于浓硫酸中呈红色，稀释后仍为红色，并微有沉淀；于浓硝酸中呈红色，稀释后仍为红色；于稀盐酸中为红色。
用途
活性艳红 K-2BP 用于棉、黏胶纤维的染色及其织物的直接印花，还用于蚕丝、羊毛织物的印花和维纶织物的印染。色光比活性艳红 X-3B 稍黄，也不够艳亮，但不易断键褪色。可与活性艳橙 K-G 或活性艳橙 K-7R 拼大红色，可用于维棉混纺布的直接印花。涤棉混纺布的二浴法染色，可与活性嫩黄 K-4G、活性艳橙 K-GN、活性艳红 K-2G、活性艳蓝 K-GR 拼染中、深色泽。生产方法
以邻氨基苯磺酸、H 酸、三聚氯氰和邻氯苯胺为原料，首先将 H 酸与三聚氯氰缩合，再将邻氨基苯磺酸重氮化，并与前述缩合物偶合，最后将偶合产物与邻氯苯胺进行第二次缩合，经盐析、过滤、干燥得成品。
将 9.78kg 三聚氯氰 (100%) 与 17.91kg H 酸 (100%) 在 0-5℃缩合反应 3h，得中间产物 (I)。取 8.65kg 邻氨基苯磺酸重氮化后，与 (I) 在 0-5℃偶合得中间产物 (II)。最后将 (II) 与 7.019kg 邻氯苯胺 (100%) 在温度 42℃反应 3h 后，压滤，烘干得染料约 35kg。
