Biological ActivityUM729 is an enhancer of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) antagonists.
in vitroum729 expands normal hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) in an AhR-independent manner, and UM729 inhibits AML cell differentiation. In 05H163 cells, the addition of UM729 increased CD34+CD15- Number of cells. It can inhibit the differentiation of most AML cells in combination with AhR antagonists.
