After completion of the reaction, 1000 ml of distilled water and 100 ml of saturated saline solution were added to the reaction solution, followed by extraction twice with 400 ml of ethyl acetate. The organic layer was collected, and dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, and the sodium sulfate was filtered off. After the solvent was evaporated from the filtrate using a rotary evaporator, the obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (THF:toluene=1:9 (volume ratio)) to obtain 14.11 g of the compound M as a white solid. The yield was 65 mol %.
