| Description | Selank is a synthetic analog of human immunoglobulin G (tetrapeptide tuftsin). It has anxiolytic and neuroprotective effects and is used to treat generalized anxiety disorder. Selank is effective in stress reduction, alleviation of depression, reversal of anhedonia, improvement in mood, and cessation of insomnia. Activates the processes of learning, memory, analysis, and reproducing information and improves short-term memory and attention. Being the analog of tuftsin - the endogenous peptide - selank mimics many of its effects.
