General procedure: To the appropriate tert-butyl piperidin-3-ylcarbamate derivative10% solution of HCl in MeOH was added. The reaction mixturewas stirred at room temperature for 24 h. When the reaction wasfinished, the solvent and hydrogen chloride were evaporated underreduced pressure, producing a residue that was then suspended inethyl acetate with a small amount of diethyl ether. The obtainedhydrochloride salt was then dissolved in saturated solution ofNaHCO3 and extracted with DCM (6 x 20 mL). The organic extractswere combined, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered andconcentrated under vacuum.
