Steps:

In a 500mL reaction flask,27.1 g (about 0.1 mol) of 2-p-chlorophenyl-5-trifluoromethylpyrrole-3-carbonitrile were added,Dissolve with 200mL tetrahydrofuran and 50mL carbon tetrachloride,Then add 0.6g of iron powder,4-dimethylaminopyridine 14.7g (about 0.12mol),Stir for 30 min.Then slowly drop 19.8g of liquid bromine (about 0.11mol),Control the temperature to 40 ~ 50 , after dripping,The reaction was carried out at room temperature for 4h. After the completion of the reaction, after the reaction solution was cooled, water was added and stirred,The mixed solvent was distilled off, a large amount of light yellow solid was precipitated in the water phase, filtered, the filter cake was washed three times with water, the filter cake was collected, and dried to obtain 33.2 g of yellow-white solid 4-bromo-2-p-chlorophenyl-5-triphenylene Fluoromethylpyrrole-3-carbonitrile, the purity of the product detected by HPLC was 98.5%, and the yield was 95.0%.
