68 g of sodium hydroxide was added to 1200 g of water at 0 to 10 °C. 75 g of bromine was added dropwise to an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, and the mixture was stirred at 0 to 10 °C for 1 hour. 90 g of pentafluorobenzamide solid was added to the above reaction solution in portions to control the reaction at an internal temperature of 80 °C. After completion of the reaction, the temperature was lowered to 20 °C, 200 g of methyl tert-butyl ether was added to the reaction solution, stirring, standing, stratified, the organic phase was concentrated at 30 °C, To obtain 69 g of pentafluoroaniline, yield 89.5%. After HPLC analysis, the content of >95%. The organic solvent was changed in the same manner as in Example 1, and the results are shown in Table 1.
