34.2 Step 2: Preparation of compound 102-3
To a solution of 102-2 (1.0 g, 4.2 mmol, 1.0 eq) in THF (6.0 mL) and H 2O (3.0 mL) was added LiOH . H 2O (0.9 g, 21.0 mmol, 5.0 eq) at RT. The mixture was stirred for 16 hours. LCMS showed the reaction was completed, the mixture was adjusted to PH=4-5 with 1M HCl and extracted with EA. The mixture was washed with saturated brine, dried over Na 2SO 4. The mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure to provide 102-3 (0.8 g, 85 %) as white solid. LCMS: Rt: 0.934 min; MS m/z (ESI) : 223.1 [M-H] .
