To a solution of 3-nitro-N-phenylpyridin-4-amine (20 g, 93 mmol) in MeOH (500 mL) was added 10% Pd/C.
The reaction was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 10 h.
The reaction was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to afford the product (17.2 g, 100%).
