3.3. General Procedure B: Synthesis of 4a-4al
General procedure: A mixture of amine (0.5 mmol) or diamine (0.25 mmol), carbon disulfide (38 mg, 0.5 mmol),methyl (2-chloroacetyl)carbamate (76 mg, 0.5 mmol), and triethylamine (61 mg, 0.6 mmol) in MeCN(3 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 10 min. After disappearance of the reactant (monitoredby TLC), added 50 mL water to the mixture, then extracted with ethyl acetate 3 times (3 x 50 mL).The extract was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4 and evaporated. The residue was purified by columnchromatography on silica gel to give 4a-4al.
