Use absolute ethanol as the solvent, 0.276g 3-(2-(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)-1,10-phenanthroline (1mmol) and 0.276g potassium carbonate (2mmol),Stir the reaction at room temperature for 3h,The TLC method monitors the progress of the reaction. After the reaction is complete, cool to room temperature, filter and wash the solid,dry. 0.188 g of white solid 3-ethynyl-1,10-phenanthroline was obtained with a yield of 92.1%.
