[00314] 1.27 g of 2-methyl-4-nitro-1 ,3-benzothiazole was hydrogenated over 0.13 g Pd/C catalyst in 150 mL methanol. Filtration and evaporation gave 0.94 g 2-methyl-1 ,3-benzothiazol- 4-amine.
