Glycosylation with glycosyl o-(1-alkynyl)benzoates; General procedure
General procedure: A solution of glycosyl donor 1a-j (0.5 mmol) and acceptor 2a-h (0.6 mmol) in anhydrous CH₃CN (5 ml) was stirred with iodine (0.6 mmol) at 25^oC. On complete consumption of the starting materials indicated by TLC (eluent: hexane-EtOAc, 2:2), the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, diluted with DCM and washed with Na₂S₂O₃solution, and water. The organic layer was dried with Na₂SO₄, concentrated under reduced pressure and purified by column chromatography.
