General procedure: A mixture of substituted 2-bromo-1-phenylethan-1-one (2.5 mmol) and ethyl 2-amino-2-thioxoacetate (3.8 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (10 mL). The solution was heated at refluxfor 6 h and then cooled to room temperature. After being concentrated, the residue was dissolvedin ethyl acetate (20 mL); then the solution was washed with water and brine, dried over Na2SO4,and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel to give 18.The intermediate 19 was obtained by an operation similar to that described for the preparation of 13c.Subsequently, substituted arylamine reacted with 19 according to the synthesis condition of compound16a to produce 20. Finally, target compounds 21 to 49 were prepared according to the procedure for17a, except that different substrates were used.
