2) Synthesis of compound of the following formula 1-B [118] [Formula 1-B] [119][120] 6-bromo-2-naphthoatemethylester compound (8.0 g, 30 mmol) and hydrazine monohydrate (6 mL, 120 mmol) were dissolved in 150 mL of methanol, and the solution was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours, and then stirred at 80°C for 20 hours. The resultant was cooled to normal temperature, and the formed white solid was filtered, washed (with methanol), and then dried. Thus, a compound of the formula 1-B (7.5 g, yield 94 %) was prepared.[121] MS: [M+H]+= 265
