4.4. General procedure for synthesis of quinazoline or quinolineamines (39-55)
To a solution of 37 (1.0 equiv.) or 38 (1.0 equiv.) in MeCN, theappropriate amine (2.0 equiv.) and K2CO3 (3.0 equiv.) were added.The reaction mixture was stirred at 50 °C for 1 h and then at roomtemperature for 16 h. EtOAc was added to the reaction mixture,which was washed with H2O and brine. The combined organicphases were dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered, and evaporatedunder reduced pressure. The productwas subjected to flash columnchromatography (different solvent combinations used: EtOAc/nhexaneor Et2O/petrolether) to obtain the pure compound.
