Steps:

Preparation of 113D10 derivative (compound 7).

General procedure: 3,4-difluoroaniline (1.29 g, 10.0 mmol) was dissolved in hydrochloric acid. Ammonium thiocyanate (1.17 g, 15.4 mmol) in water was added and the mixture was stirred at 90°C for 2 h. After reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, and extracted with ethyl acetate, the organic layer was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo and then purified by silica gel chromatography. 1-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)thiourea and trifluorobromoacetone (0.710 g, 3.72 mmol) were dissolved in ethanol (5 mL) and stirred at 90°C for 2 h. After reaction mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate, the organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered, and evaporated to give compound 7 as a white crystal (0.130 g, 0.464 mmol).
