Weigh 1 mol (46 g) of formic acid, 3 mol of n-butanol, and 1% (0.46 g) of sulfonic acid type dinuclear ionLiquid propanesulfonic acid type dinuclear butyl (m=3, n=4) was added to a three-necked flask with reflux condensation and heated at reflux temperature for 6 h.The solution was placed in a separatory funnel, the solution was naturally layered, and the upper reaction solution was separated, using sodium hydroxide and saturated sodium chloride. The mixed liquid (sodium hydroxide concentration in the mixed solution was 8%) was washed to obtain the product n-butyl formate in a yield of 93.21%. The lower sulfonic acid type dinuclear ionic liquid can be reused after drying.
