In a 2000 ml three-necked flask, 1000 g of methyltrichlorosilane was added.The dropping funnel was charged with 235 g of methanol and the reaction temperature was at 20°C.The reaction time is two hours and the aging reaction is performed after the addition is complete.Aging temperature is 80°C and aging time is controlled at 1 hour.The aged crude product is put into an atmospheric rectification device with a 80 cm packed column.The distillation temperature is controlled at 95°C and the tower top temperature is controlled at 85°C.Distillation yields 970 g of 99.4% methyl 2chloromethoxysilane product.
