Steps:

General procedure for the synthesis of aminosilanes 1-12 (A)

General procedure: Four equivalents of low-boiling amines or two equivalentsof high boiling amines and two equivalents oftriethylamine were disolved in n-pentane and cooledto 273 K in an ice bath. Chlorotrimethylsilane (twoequivalents) or dichlorodimethylsilane (one equivalent)was added dropwise with stirring. The mixturewas allowed to attain room temperature and stirringwas continued overnight. The hydrochloride residuewas filtered off and washed with n-pentane. From thefiltrate and washings volatiles were removed in vacuo.
