Dissolve (S)-3-amino-4,4-dimethylvaleric acid (1-1) (5.0g, 34.5mmol) in methanol (50mL) at room temperature, then cool to 0 in an ice bath, Thionyl chloride (8.2 g, 69.0 mmol) was added dropwise to the solution, and after the addition, the reaction solution was heated to 65° C. for reaction for 2 hours.
