1 Example 1: Synthesis of tert-butyl (2-chloro-4-hydroxy-phenyl) carbamate (B)
To 1000 ml of dichloromethane was added 100 g of 4-amino-3-chlorophenol (A), 183.0 g of di-tert-butyl dicarbonate and 211.0 g of triethylamine, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours.The reaction solution was washed with 300 ml of water, and an appropriate amount of n-hexane was added, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain 157.0 g of the title compound (B).(Yield 92.5%).
