Uses
Direct yellow 44 (CAS# 8005-52-5) is a water-soluble organic azo dye and water pollutant.
Preparation
3-Aminobenzenesulfonic acid diazo, and (2-Methoxyphenylamino)methanesulfonic acid coupling. Then the water with sulfonic acid base, compounds (A) (coupling components is O-Anisidine with Formaldehyde?and sodium sulfite and processing); 4-Nitrobenzenamine diazo, coupled with 2-Hydroxybenzoic acid, and then will the nitro reduction, compound (B). Properties and Applications
yellow. Brown powder. Soluble in water for green light yellow, slightly soluble in alcohol. The strong sulfuric acid dyes for red, diluted into shallow purple.
