Uses
Carbohydrazide is widely utilized as a curing agent for epoxide-type resins and as an oxygen scrubber in boiler systems. It is applied in photography to stabilize color developers that produce images of the azo-methine and azine classes. It is used to develop ammunition propellants and stabilize soaps. It is also a useful reagent in organic synthesis.

ChEBI: A carbohydrazide obtained by formal condensation between hydrazinecarboxylic acid and hydrazine.
Safety Profile
Poison by intravenous and intraperitoneal routes. Reacts with nitrous acid to form the explosive carbonic dazide. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
