Some consider amniotic fluid simply an animal protein serving as a surface film-forming agent with moisturizing properties. others claim it is nourishing, has anti-toxic properties, acts as an epithelial stimulant, and can diffuse through the skin. Research indicates that amniotic fluid seems to have a positive effect on wound healing and cellular regeneration.
