3-Decyn-1-ol is primary homo-propargylic alcohol derivative. It has been reported to be formed during the isomerization of 2-decyn-1-ol in the presence of sodium salt of 1,3-diaminopropane. Its toxicity has been evaluated on the green alga, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata in terms of EC50 (median effective concentration) and NOEC (no observed effect level) values.
