别名：大茴香油
本品为无色或淡黄色的澄清液体；气味与八角茴香类似。冷时常发生浑浊或析出结晶，加温后又澄清。
1.主要成分
反式茴香脑（80%~95%），蒎烯，对甲氧基苯乙酮，水芹烯，对异丙基甲苯，甲基蒌叶酚，l-柠檬烯，异松油烯，1,8-萜二醇，大茴香醛（约7%），大茴香酮，茴香酸，l-芳樟醇，a-松油醇等。贮久后茴香脑含量下降，甲基蒌叶酚增加。
2.制法
由木兰科植物八角茴香的新鲜枝叶或成熟果实粉碎后经水蒸气蒸馏而得。得率8.5%~9%（干果）或1.8%~5%（鲜品）。

B.混溶度（20℃） ：1V全溶于3V 90%乙醇，澄清

4.用途
规定为允许使用的食用香料。芳香调味药及健胃药。
主要用于焙烤食品，糖果，酒类，碳酸饮料及烟草等，亦为提制食用茴香脑和大茴香醛的原料。
