This embodiment provides a method for preparing 5,7-pregnadiene-3,20-dione-diethylene diketal, which is different from the preparation method of Example 1 in that in step (2 ), 200 ml of methyl ethyl ketone and 50 ml of water were added to the three-necked flask, and the ether compound prepared in Example 2 was 40 g of tetrachlorobenzoquinone. The reaction of the raw materials was detected by TLC. The solution was poured into 1000 ml of water, filtered, washed with water, and dried to obtain 47.6 g of 6-dehydroprogesterone as a white solid. The yield of 6-dehydroprogesterone from progesterone was 95.8% and the purity was 96.1%.
