CASPASE INHIBITOR3 Chemical Properties,Uses,Production

Uses

N-Boc-L-aspartic acid 4-methyl ester fluoromethyl ketone is used as a novel Boc-D(OMe)-FMK inhibitor synthesized using proprietary technology and irreversibly binds to activated caspases to block apoptosis. It is useful for in vitro and in vivo applications.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Boc-Asp(OMe)-fluoromethyl ketone (Boc-D-fmk) permits cell permeability. It is a caspase inhibitor and suppresses apoptosis induced by various kinds of stimuli. Boc-D-fmk poorly inhibits caspases-2, -5, -6 and -10.
