Use
Bromocyclopentane is an important intermediate in organic synthesis and can be used as a raw material for the synthesis of many pharmaceutical and agrochemicals. Bromocyclopentane can be produced by the reaction of corresponding alcohols and thionyl halide, phosphorus trihalide or hydrohalic acid, and can also be obtained by the addition reaction of hydrohalic acid with olefins and other methods.
