Use
Tungsten–titanium carbide (WTiC2) in cobalt isused primarily for metal-forming applications above 1982°C. It is used particularly for hotrepairs in open-hearth furnaces. such as draw dies, tube-sizing mandrels, burnishingrolls, and flaring tools. The WTiC2 is agall-resistant phase in the RHM containingtungsten carbide as well as cobalt.
