Description

This optically active maleimide undergoes radical copolymerizationwith styrene to yield a ~1:1 copolymer (~98%). Vinyl copolymers with asymmetric main chains can be used as nonlinear optical materials. Dienophile for diastereoselective Diels-Alder reactions.
