Description

6,7-Dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropterine hydrochloride is a synthetic reduced pterin cofactor for nitric oxide synthetase, and for phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan hydroxylases; less active than the natural cofactor, tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4).
