Description

Palmitic anhydride was used in the synthesis of water-solubleN-palmitoyl chitosan (PLCS) by coupling with swollen chitosan in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). It was also used in the synthesis ofN-acylphosphatidylserine.
