According to the literature method [Major R Tet. Al., J. Org. Chem. 23 (5): 1563-1565, 1958] preparation: Dimethyl sulfoxide and iodomethane were refluxed under N2 to give trimethoxythiodide iodide; Methoxythio iodide and chlorine reaction of trimethoxy sulfur chloride.
