Palladium(π-cinnamyl) chloride dimer can be used as a catalyst for the:- Ammonia cross-coupling reactions to synthesize arylamines.
- Conversion of aryl triflates to fluorides.
It can also be used as a source of palladium in the asymmetric α-arylation of amides.
