Chloro-IB-MECA is an Adenosine A3-R agonist with a Ki value of 0.33 nM. Chloro-IB-MECA displays 2500 and 1400-fold selectivity over Adenosine A1-R and Adenosine A2A-R, respectively. This explains selectivity over the Na+-independent adenosine transporter.
