Description

7-Diethylamino-3-[4-(iodoacetamido)phenyl]-4-methylcoumarin can be used for preparing maleimide and iodoacetamide derivatives of 3-phenylcoumarin fluorophore. These derivatives can be self-quenching until they react with thiol groups and regain their strong fluorescence.
