Description

Nialamide is a pyridine-based small molecule non-selective inhibitor of MAO (monoamine oxidase) enzymes. As a non-selective inhibitor, Nialamide is described to inhibit both MAO A and B. Nialamide has been utilized to mediate quinolinic acid-induced hippocampal damage in studies.
