Use
Acyclovir (Zovirax) is a synthetic purine analog derived from guanine.It is effective against HSV-1 and 2, varicella-zoster virus, Epstein-Barr virus, herpesvirus simiae, and cytomegalovirus. Acyclovir may be administered intravenously, orally, or topically.
