Description

ChEBI: Bis(2-methyl-3-furyl)disulfide is a member of the class of furans that is disulfane in which both hydrogen's are substituted by 2-methylfuran-3-yl groups. It is a flavouring agent found in meat. It has a role as a human metabolite, a flavouring agent, a plant metabolite, a mammalian metabolite and a Maillard reaction product. It is a member of furans and an organic disulfide.
