Description

Thyroxine (T4) is a thyroid hormone that impacts diverse developmental and physiological processes in vertebrates. L-T4 is a synthetic form of the natural hormone. It is used to treat hypothyroidism but is known to cause various side effects, including hypothyroidism upon withdrawal.
