Description

HM71224 is an inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK; IC50 = 1.95 nM) that has been shown to prevent B cell activation and osteoclastogenesis. It additionally targets the related kinases BMX, Tec, and TXK (IC50s = 0.64, 4.57, and 4.62 nM, respectively), as well as EGFR (IC50 = 4.96 nM). In a mouse model of rheumatoid arthritis, 3-30 mg/kg HM71224 dose dependently reduced erosive bone changes and prevented bone loss.
